Static Discharge Reel / Grounding Reel

SAMTECH has been producing static grounding reels, also known as static discharge reels, for over years.  Our reels are used all over the world for grounding and bonding industrial, commercial and military equipment to many customers in the fuel transportation and aircraft refuelling industries, we meet exacting specifications in critical applications where the discharge of static electricity could cause a spark and subsequent explosion.

Static discharge reels are an alternative solution to using spiral cable. They are normally specified for locations where there is a preference for ensuring process operators stow grounding clamps correctly for good “housekeeping” purposes when the clamps are not in use.
SAMTECH “Closed” type of static grounding reels offer our cable housed on automatically retractable cable reel.

SAMTECH reels are built for reliable performance and can be used when combustible materials are transferred between rail to rail, rail to truck, truck to tank, etc. These static grounding reels are ideal for use in ground support for aircraft, bulk powder transfer stations, terminals and refineries.
Our stainless steel reels offer enhanced protection in harsh, outdoor and combustible dust environments as well as food and pharmaceutical applications where paint and surface coatings are prohibited.  

Closed type reels is a 4.5 mm multi-stranded SS304 pvc conductor protected by White coating and the retractable cable reels is supplied on the Length 5M (16.4Ft), 10M(32.8Ft), 15M(49.2Ft), 20M(65.6Ft), 25M(82.0Ft),30M(98.4Ft) Reels.
Also Supplied with Polycab Y/G copper wire with 1Core x 2.5sqmm, 6sqmm, 10sqmm.
s100 amps Earth Clamps are supplied with reel.
